I can't remember the last time I ate at a Waffle House, but, I suspect it was when I was a kid, eons ago. So, when we were headed to LIT, I exclaimed, "We have to go to Waffle House!!", luckily my traveling companion and I are in synch and he said, "Well, of COURSE we do!." What can you say/write about WH that hasn't already been written? Well, we don't have them in NY, so, I make it a point to eat at one when I'm in the south or a state that *does* have them. Maybe it's the appeal of the basic yellow and black sign that draws me in, or, maybe because it's an inexpensive meal, anytime of day, or, maybe it's just that I have a thing for waffles... I had a pecan waffle and and jalapeno hash browns, my friend had plain waffles, plain grits and sausage. Multiple cups of coffee were consumed by the two of us as well. It's pretty basic, but, that's what I like. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. (Living in NYC, I really miss how nice/pleasant/friendly folks are whenever I leave the city. No, that's not a stereotype of either locale, it's just what I've experienced). I wanted to buy a coffee mug, but they only sell them online. I suspect if I lived in Little Rock, I'd be here often and a member of The Regulars Club. I also suspect that I'd be doing a lot of running/walking to burn off those waffle calories, which would be totally worth it.

At 2:30 am. U can't be choosy. Busy, busy, busy . People all stared when we walked in . Wonder why? Anyway ... After bout 10 min. My friend went to counter and told waitress how pretty she was. Next thing you know we had a chocolate waffle for an appetizer . It was ok. But I wouldn't recommend . Katrina "chocolate face" said grill cheese was delightful . Eggs , biscuits , and gravy were all great for late night. Order grits with cheese. Damn good. Waffle House isn't worthy a a 5 star diner because its understaffed and overworked. I admire the staff for working late hours and serving to drunks like my friends. Good friends and fun times makes this a 5 star experience for me.

Where to start um can you actually listen when I place an order and not just bring me what you want. Second you have to check on your guests not just sit on your rear and eat..seriously there was no other guests and multiple employees...no one cares. Also there was nothing distinguishable written on my ticket so who knows. Awful Waffle!

I should start by saying I live down the street from this particular Waffle House, and I go in so much they know my order by heart (t-bone breakfast medium well triple up scattered smothered peppered.) About a month ago I was dinning in and having my normal order, when something caught my eye crawling on the wall right next to me. It was a common house roach ... a roach!!! To be honest we all can say Waffle House could be a lot clearer, BUT A ROACH! I informed one of the waitresses (Michelle) and swore never to return.

I'm a city girl moving to the country so I'm trying to get with the program. But I don't see what all the chatter is about with the Waffle House. Denny's is soo much better to me than this place. Might not be one around, anywho. My husband dragged me here and the first time walking in it was packed so we decided to go run an errand and come back. Nice it's not packed anymore around 12-1pm. The staff extremely friendly and talkative to customers but maybe their downfall. My husband and I order was messed up so we got food on the house plus my food I ordered. The floor in the cooking area a horrible MESS, I wanted to help clean it myself. They seem pretty unorganized and the food was so so. If anybody knows how to make rice they could produce the same food from here. Just basic stuff. Great deals though. A lot of food for your buck I will say. But not a place I would like to visit on a regular.

Couldn't give it a 5 star because of the waiting staff. After going here on a regular basis every time the waiting staff let them down. Between waiting for a refill on my coffee forever and just shitty service.... The food is always pretty good and I really like there waffles.... Better waiting staff would go a long way

Great bacon! Love their Hashbrowns, which is the main draw for me. Coffee is good too. Will go back for sure. Service good, but a bit pokey.

1 star only because of my waitress. Crap, crap and more crap! The grits came out cold so I asked if they can be reheated and she said ok....bought them back cold! Bacon came back pink, after I asked for it to be crispy...honestly who eats pink bacon. As a waitress, if I saw that on a plate for a customer I would snatch it off and throw it at the cook....syrup...hello, where the heck is the syrup. O let me guess Im suppose to eat this waffle with no syrup. Ummmm excuse me, can we get some syrup......O yes Im sorry, how can I forget something like that...my thoughts exactly. Lastly my sister order the hash browns with onion and jalapeno...except they forgot the onions and jalapeno when they cooked it and brought it out! Ok now me and my sis are mad a hell, how ridiculous, we had to eat each item separate because they all had to be sent back individually. Lastly the tables stayed dirty to long which caused some wonderful visitors to stop by or should I say "fly by" so now we can swat the visitors away as people walking by thought we were waving while trying to finish the breakfast! If someone walked up to me on the streets and offered to pay me to go eat at this Waffle House, I would slap them with the back side of my hand and take the money for the insulting me!

If u want eggs and waffles this is the place. The staff here is better then any of the near by WHs.

I could not believe it when my husband pulled into the Waffle House parking lot this a.m. but it's been many years since I'd last been disappointed by a visit to Waffle House so I went along with it. We sat down in a restaurant that had, maybe 5 other people in it. We sat there for 9 minutes. No one ever even acknowledged us. We got up and left and went to a different restaurant where they greeted us as soon as we pulled the door open and we had our food on the table in close to 9 minutes. I think we should have never even attempted eating at Waffle House. Those are nine minutes of our lives we'll never get back.
